This unique class of Agama was kept at homes as a pet ever since years, but it has grown popular and liked by man of lately, due to which inquiries are poring in for Agama at pet shops worldwide. Just presume if we create anew among the spiders the color combination of bright blue and blood red which is worn by the Spiderman, surely they will look rare amid their species. This extraordinary combination of colors is accepted and liked by everyone.

The only thing which we instantly think when we see this creature is weird.  When we look at it we feel that somehow has wontedly used this combination on the lizard so that it imitates the Spiderman.  It is not a condition where we have gone crazy about the super and outstanding hero.  This color is in existence since ages for a precise cause.  The Agamas are such good pets to be kept at home, because they have the willingness to be taught and they are so gentle.  But during winter the extra concern has to be taken and they need special tools to maintain the heat and keep them safe and breathing, which are reasonably pricey.

They have to be fed well because these spideys even though they look small in the picture, can grow real huge and up to twelve inches in length.  Put both the spideys side by side in the parallel spot, don’t they look very tiny but they have a tendency to grow real huge.  They like to feed on various insects like the locusts, crickets, wax worms and mealworm. The teeth situated in the front are real sharp and they can cut their food with great speed and then they chew the food well before they eat it up, which is why they are known as the kind of well bred lizard.  They also like to feed on berries, seeds and very rarely on raw egg.

The origin or their existence is from Kenya and the point to be noted is that the comparison with the Spider man does not conclude with the color alone.  They climb up walls vertically and they run with the use of their hind legs when ever needed.  In their species it can be noted that Mwanza is not the only type of agama, there are around forty species indicated which differ in size from five to twelve inches.

In spite of the change in climate due to the invasion by man in Kenya, this class of agama has handled to settle.  They love to live in the huts or housed which are thatched and they require and choose a very small amount of place where they feel they are safe as their dwelling.  They are so used to living with human beings.  When they find their prey the agamas come out of their place to eat, but when they feel that they are spotted they try to escape and use their two legs so that they can run at great speed.

This color combination is found only among the males in this species, the females have a dark brown color which looks quite dull.  When the males seem to get a fright the color changes and it will look brownish.  During the night the brilliant colors cannot be noticed because they exhibit the beautiful colors only during the day time.

The Mwanza have the inclination to bear the scorching sun, which is suited to their place of origin, but they also have a tendency to search for a sheltered place till the heat is subsided a little.  The Mwanza are generally unreserved type of lizards, but the males do not get along very well, so it is always better not to buy two males and keep them in the same atmosphere.  We find that most of the grown up males would have lost their tails when fighting, they usually show their aggressiveness with their tails and hiss among themselves, which looks very frightening even though they are not that large.

Once these species are bought to be kept as a pet, the point to be considered is that they live for around fifteen years, so they surely require a lot of concern and interest to grow them.  The requirements of this species when compared to the other pets are compound and high quality equipments.  Before going to buy your favorite superhero, it’s always better to think twice for the well being of the Mwanza and they purchase them.
