If you watch how particular plant is living mostly from solar energy and water you’d see how amazing all this is. Humans have always tried to create an imitation of a plant but they never succeed. Imagine how it would be good to have some kind of a robotic plant that will effectively convert solar energy into some other kind of energy that we can use.

Heliotropis is a solar powered kinetic sculpture that imitates behavior of plants. It collects solar energy and uses it to open and close the glass petals during the daylight.
