Ski jumping is pretty popular winter sport. Every year, dozens of brave ski jumpers are trying to score best results in different competitions. Take-off ramps for ski jumping are pretty complicated to maintain and their construction is pretty expensive. There are dozens of active take-off ramps which are used for their purpose but, here you can see one which has been abandoned for long time.

It is take-off ramp in Murmansk, Russia. As you can see from attached photos, this place was once used to be great attraction for visitors and ski jumpers. However, today it is completely abandoned and pretty ruined, probably because of big expenses of the maintaining. Despite the fact that it hasn’t been maintained for a while, it still looks magnificent and glorious and probably is waiting some better days to live again.
