Who says that there are no wonders in this world? The nature is full of plenty of wonders! If you still believe that there are no wonders, then, you should question your definition of the word wonder.

This amazing rock, which also can be called island, is one of the most beautiful places in nature you will ever see. It is one huge strange shaped rock which got that mushroom shape because of tidal erosion. The most astonishing fact is that there is a pretty developed vegetation and some large trees on it.

It is called Turnip Rock and it can be found in the Huron County, on the shores of Lake Huron. The sad fact for tourists is that the terrain road to this beautiful and amazing piece of nature is privately owned, however, you can reach it by the boat.

Polar lights are always interesting and no matter how much you watch them, you are never bored to see more of them. Enjoying the sight of beautiful colorful lights in sky is not only the privilege of those who live near Earth’s poles. A rare natural phenomenon which appears only when a few of special conditions are satisfied can produce incredible light-shows in the sky almost as beautiful as polar lights.

This phenomenon is known as ‘light poles’ and it can be seen at nights ower the large cities with different colored lights. They can only be seen during very cold weather (the temperature of -20 Celsius degrees or lower is required). Also the wind must not blow fast and there has to be a plenty of tiny ice crystals in the atmosphere. That is why you don’t see this so often.
