The Chick Who Decided to be a Penguin

Penguins are probably the onliest specie of a birds which walks upright and straight, similar to humans. However, this proud chick from a small farm in eastern China refuses to walk like a chick and it rather chooses to walk and stand upright and proudly like penguins. It seems that it tries to say us with its aristocratic and little bit arrogant behavior that she doesn’t belong to this “ordinary” society of ordinary chicks…

It has a little bit different body construction than other chicks on this farm, its wings are shorter and it reportedly newer attempted to fly.

This chicken which was named Mumble has became very famous in neighborhood of Chinese farmer Lu xi who is the lucky owner.

Who says that there are no wonders in this world? The nature is full of plenty of wonders! If you still believe that there are no wonders, then, you should question your definition of the word wonder.

This amazing rock, which also can be called island, is one of the most beautiful places in nature you will ever see. It is one huge strange shaped rock which got that mushroom shape because of tidal erosion. The most astonishing fact is that there is a pretty developed vegetation and some large trees on it.

It is called Turnip Rock and it can be found in the Huron County, on the shores of Lake Huron. The sad fact for tourists is that the terrain road to this beautiful and amazing piece of nature is privately owned, however, you can reach it by the boat.

Abandoned Ski Jumping Take-Off Ramp in Murmansk, Russia

Ski jumping is pretty popular winter sport. Every year, dozens of brave ski jumpers are trying to score best results in different competitions. Take-off ramps for ski jumping are pretty complicated to maintain and their construction is pretty expensive. There are dozens of active take-off ramps which are used for their purpose but, here you can see one which has been abandoned for long time.

It is take-off ramp in Murmansk, Russia. As you can see from attached photos, this place was once used to be great attraction for visitors and ski jumpers. However, today it is completely abandoned and pretty ruined, probably because of big expenses of the maintaining. Despite the fact that it hasn’t been maintained for a while, it still looks magnificent and glorious and probably is waiting some better days to live again.
