Asia is full of surprises, there is almost something every day from there which amazes us. Today we are talking about amazing Snake Temple which is placed in Penang in Malaysia. It is probably the only one of its kind in whole world.

This temple is different from the others because it houses hundreds of various snakes and large number of them are very poisonous. However, the visitors are not afraid to come to temple because snakes are seemed to be surprisingly friendly there.

Every such temple must have a legend behind it and this one is allegedly a temple built by the Chor Soo Kong monk who have offered a shelter to a few snakes and after that snakes felt like welcomed there and kept coming.

Unfortunately, plenty of local people do worship those snakes and the name of Chor Soo Kong which is often related as a cause of unusual snakes’ friendly behavior in this place.

fun fact. no snakes are poisons. they are venomous. venom is injected and poison is ingested. you could drink a cup of snake venom and be fine.

how is it unfortunate that plenty of people worship those snakes or the monk?
    what is it to you?

Worship snakes.. and you actually have to ask how its unfortunate? Its unfortunate, because like any and EVERY religion, these people are just bat shit insane and the infection in their brains called faith is the one and only true weapon of mass destruction this planet has ever seen.. These people, all people of religion, are a threat to every man woman and child on this planet.

Give a man a fish he eats for a day.. Give a man religion, he murders everyone around him and then dies of hunger praying for a fish.
