The Biggest Crab in Britain is Huge and Still Growing

Posted on 17 February 2010

This biggest crab in Britain is huge and it is still growing and that is not all what you need to hear, they call this thing ‘Crabzilla’ and that is what concerns me most.

The ‘Crabzilla’ measures about 10ft from claw to claw and he is continuing to grow. It is captured by fishermen while fishing in the waters of Pacific Ocean and it is lucky that it hasn’t been eaten until now because crabs are considered as one of the most expensive delicacies. If you wish to see this thing face to face, than you can do that in National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham where the ‘Crabzilla’ is displayed for visitors.

this crab scares the shit out of me, but he should not be killed. killing him would be a terrible shame.

They shouldn’t take it out of the water all the time, it’s probably being traumatized (as far as little crab brains go) and shortening it’s life span. Humans have to make a toy out of everything. And, yes, crustaceans are related to arachnids, in much the same way that apes are related to lemurs.

    talk about 8 legged freaks… err 10?

Gridsleep, are you serious? Have you never seen crabs on the beach? They come out of the water on their own. I’m not sure about this particular species, but I’m pretty sure it would be the same. I doubt they would take it out of the water if it hurt the crab, as they’re trying to keep it alive…

As for me, I definitely wouldn’t try to keep it alive. This crab looks like it would make some absolutely DELICIOUS meals. I would boil the shit out of that thing, make some gumbo with it, crab cakes, the whole shooting match.

Bet you thought learning English was a doddle, huh? Most non-native speakers do. But however you slice it up, the above is barely literate. 1) ‘The’ Crabzilla? It ‘is’ captured (tenses, champ. Learn ‘em). 2) Hasn’t been eaten ‘until now’ (so it’s been eaten subsequently then?). 3) There’s also a glaring mistake in the final sentence but that’s for you to find, and five or so words that, while correct, are so awkward and clumsy it’s like the author barely tried at all.

I’m guessing you’re from the subcontinent and are as arrogant as the rest of them, so sounding stupid should make you concerned.
