Chand Baori, The World’s Deepest Step Well

India is known by its wonderful architectural historical wonders that have amazed everyone who visited them. The historical monuments like Taj Mahal are witnessing the glorious history of India.

One of such architectural complexes is this amazing step well, called Chand Baori, which is located in village of Abhaneri near Jaipur. This step well was built more than a thousand years ago.

If you look at it carefully you could notice that this structure actually looks like it is inverse pyramid. It is 100 feet deep and it contains 3500 narrow steps which are connecting a 13 stories of this amazing structure.
