Yeah, been to one at Bacolod in Philippines. Stop your vehicle at the 34km marker near Manukal Hot Spring. Optical illusion, but still pretty cool.

It is an optical illusion, I've been there personally and can verify that it is in India but it is not however uphill, although it does seem to look like it. A spirit level laid down on the road shows it is running downhill, also I had with me a soccer ball which rolled the same way and last time I checked, soccer balls have no iron or other magnetic substances in them.
P.S. Yim, what the f**k are you talking about. if you think a magnetic force strong enough to pull a car uphill is automatically strong enough to lift the car from the ground and send it skyward, your grasp of physics is laughable.

I heard of such a place in Romania too, a long time ago, but I don't remember the details. But there is a place with the opposite effect: one winter, (I had summer tyres) I was not able to "go down" on the road from Zalau to Cluj, at the very exit of Zalau. The impression is the road is going down, (probably an illusion), but actually my car did not agree with this impression and I was forced to return and choose another road.
I will make a check to see the real inclination (I live in Zalau, so it's not a problem, only I did not think of that.
