Almost everyone is talking about global warming and its effects these days. And this could be very true but at the same time there are some studies which claim that we are actually aiming to a global cooling period. The latest extreme low temperatures that are recorded all over the world have surprised a lot of people, especially those who live in areas where winters are mild.
It seems that humans are not the onliest who are surprised with extremely low temperatures this year, those cherries would like to get some explanation about what is really happening here

Luckily a good freeze can actually increase the crop later on. But it doesn’t look like many are eating these.

Actually, only uninformed people and lazy journalists are talking about “global warming”. Scientists, precisely because “global warming” is a misnomer, are talking about “climate change”
The average world temperature is still rising, but extremes are much more frequent.
Still a great pic though

In Utah we have had very poor snow and it’s been super cold. I hear in Florida they were hitting 17 degrees. They are all freezing there butts off because they don’t make winter jackets down there.

WOW!!! i cant believe this but i actually know where those pictures were taken. Its on the Oakland university campus in Rochester Michigan. I went to school there 2 years ago. Here i stumble to this site from digg and bam.. wtf I recognize that picture.. The above comments are right, they aren’t cherries or crabapples, but a large berry species of some kind.. also i believe the ice storm that did this happened a few years ago. 2005 maybe?

LOL and I am not sure that this is a good example of global warming. This is at Oakland University in Rochester Michigan.
That has been happening there for 20 years. Its Michigan, it cold in the winter
