Francois Knorreck, the well known hospital technician has created another wonder by subbing the recycled parts of automobiles like Audi 80, Citroen Xantia and Volkswagen golf GTI. Call it a motorcycle of a car, Snaeffel is wroth €15,000. It took 10,000 hours of labor and 10 years to come up with this hybrid.

The look of the hybrid might not impress you that much than the fact that it good for our environment as it using the recycled parts. No official statement about the car performance is heard but the chances are high that it would wheel the streets fine. Via : link , link

If the motorcycle were detachable and the car had a couple extra retractable wheels or something, then this would be awesome. But it looks the they’re permanently struck together, and that just makes it a weird and useless hybrid.

So… it’s probably intended as art! To be just an art piece, instead of design object, no “usefullness”, just shape/color/suggestion, etc.
Hey, i find it uggly to, but someone surelly apreciates it.
You loose the good things about a bike (balance+riding, parking, cool factor), and just keep the no-rain factor from the car. So, awfull idea.
But it is red, though, and that’s got to count for something…

How does it work?? I mean do you ride the bike part or the car part?

It looks cool, but after looking at that top view of it, it seems like it would flip real easy. I mean, it seems like the engine (not to mention the rider) is right on top of the left wheels, while on the right side is just some metal. I would be a little afraid to drive it unless someone was sitting in the right side of the car.
